Kudu Kaya | Baviaanskloof

Kudu Kaya

Kudu Kaya has 22 scattered naturally protected routes on sandstone/quartzite slab. Some potential remains for new routes. The climbing is set in lush shady forest. There are also stunning pools to swim in & moderate kloofing for the hot days. It’s more of a shady family camping spot with swimming, than a climbing area, but it is super cool in summer. Recommended for af-kool!

Walk-ins are easy, flat, pleasant & shaded. Suitable for family outings. Bases of most of the crags are flat.
