Grootrivier | Plettenberg Bay
The Travaskis Needle is the most prominent feature of climbing at Grootrivier. It is well worth the effort to go and climb it. There is massive potential for more routes in the area around the needle. The sport area has 7 sport lines & 4 trad lines. Rock is vertical sandstone.
This gorge is a huge wilderness gorge & deserves much greater exploration.
