Please note that the access is sensitive & the correct location is not given. Don’t follow your GPS. De Bos is off the Elands River Road, but it is not easy to get to. Basically, you will need somebody who knows the way to take you there.
Quartzite & sandstone. Main Slab is a slab about 12m high. There are 12 sport lines. Very limited potential for new lines at Main Slab. There is tons of other rock around. 5 minuteswalk-in.
The routes were bolted by Hermie Venter while he was working as a volunteer at De Bos.
Access
De Bos is on private property, it is quite difficult to find & to get too. There are at least 5 locked gates between the road & the campsite. Basically, you will need to make arrangements & go with somebody who has access. For now access arrangments are lost. Please contact info@easterncaperockclimbing.co.za if you manage to secure access.
