Cape St Francis
The bouldering at St Francis is on the sea shore. This was the only climbing close to Jeffreys Bay, these days there is also Kruisfontein & Greenland near Humansdorp. There are a wide variety of problems at all grades. Boulders, sea & short easy walk-ins on flat ground. What more could you ask for? Beer! St Francis Brewing Company has fantastic beer...Ja! bouldering, sea, short walk-ins & great beer!
There are about 270 recorded problems. There is potential to add new problems, in the direction of Cape Town, but then the walk-ins get longer.
Cape St Francis is a scenic seaside resort. Plenty of restaurants, accommodation, pubs, coffee shops & stuff for the family to do…while you boulder.
St Francis Brewing Company is the recomended beer spot. Try the Wildside IPA draft beer. Really good & strong. They have regular live music & not just cover bands.
